hello(:
had been rotting at home all day, till li kian gave me this youtube link, about a video on doomsday. it got me real intrigued, and i decided to do a post on this topic.
note: this is going to be quite disturbing, so scoot if you don't wanna know all these(:
There are prophecies and oracles from around the world that all seem to point to December 21, 2012 as doomsday. The ancient Mayan Calendar, the medieval predictions of Merlin, the Book of Revelation and the Chinese oracle of the I Ching all point to this specific date as the end of civilization. A new technology called "The Web-Bot Project" makes massive scans of the internet as a means of forecasting the future... and has turned up the same dreaded date: 2012. Skeptics point to a long history of "Failed Doomsdays", but many oracles of doom throughout history have a disturbingly accurate track record. Are there any reasons to believe these doomsayers?
1)The ancient Mayan Calendar
The Mayan people made a calendar that is the world’s most accurate calendar ever. Just like our calendar 30 days/12 months the Mayan uses the numbers 20/13. So-far no inaccuracies have been found in the Mayan calendar.
However, the Mayan calendar stops abruptly on 21st Dec 2012. According to them, the poles of the earth will shift such that the North and South Poles will come to the equator and vice versa. Thousands of years later, this theory is backed up by scientists. On this date, our sun will be at solar maximum. and something will happen that's never happened before -Astronomers say that on December 21, 2012 the Earth will be in exact alignment with the Sun and the Center of the Milky Way. Its an event that happens only around every 25,000 years. the poles will then be pulled down to the equator.
and no one knows what will happen to the earth after that, but they do know that this sudden change in climate WILL cause dire effects, and the whole earth will plunge into chaos. oops.
2)The Web Bot Program
The Web Bot Project, developed in the late 1990's, was created to assist in making stock market predictions. The technology uses a system of spiders to crawl the Internet and search for keywords, much like a search engine does. When a keyword is located, the bot program takes a snapshot of the text preceding and following the keyword. This snapshot of text is sent to a central location where it is then filtered to define meaning.
But in 2001, bot operators began to notice that stock market predictions were not the only matters being accurately predicted by the program. They began to take notice of coincidence with occurrences and explored it further. One of the first accurate predictions from the bot program took place in June of 2001. The program predicted that a life altering event would take place within the next 60-90 days, and that it will change the world forever. Regrettably, the bot program's prediction proved accurate and the Twin Towers fell on 9/11/2001. The words that the Webbot program detected included "fire in the sky", "new york", "wahabi" and "attack on building".
Here's where it starts to become very interesting. The bot program also predicts a worldwide calamity taking place in the year 2012.
Other predictions from webbot:
-The Killer Tsunami of Dec 2004
- August 2004 predicted earthquakes, 300,000 dead, rising water.
-Anthrax attack on DC
-Massive East Coast Power Outage of 2003
-Katrina 2005
Future Predictions:
1. A Limited Nuclear War or something similar to it in 2008 to 2009.
2. A series of catastrophies that will peak in a global event in late 2012.
3) Merlin
This is considered one of Europe’s greatest prophescies. He is described as a Celtic Shaman who is half man/ half demon. He predicted: The first American Colony a 1,000 years before anyone knew what America was, The British victory over Napoleon, Nazi Holocaust, Speaking Stones (Cell Phones).
His future predictions:
1. The 7th seas shall discharge itself from the River Burn for 7 months. Fishes shall die from the heat, and grow multiple tails. The Severn is where the nuclear power station is in the UK(Meltdown?).
2. London shall morn the deaths of 20,000 and the river Thames shall turn to blood. (Terrorist Attack on the trains a few years back?)
3. Sea’s rising (Global Warming?).
4. The Planets will run out of their appointed paths (Polar shift - 21st Dec 2012?)
4) Mother Shipton
Predicted the Death of Henry the 8th. Defeat of the Spanish Armata, WWI, and WWII, Queen Victoria by name(even before she was born). She predicted half of the world’s population will die in a global event in the 21st century.
5)The Yi-Ching
A few thousand years ago, this chinese guy invented a method of fortune telling, also known as the Yi-ching. After intensely studying the I-Ching, the Ancient Chinese Oracle known as the "book of changes," this mathematician, Terrance Mckenna, began to see patterns. The I-Ching is composed of 64 hexagrams, which are made up of six levels each of alternating horizontal bars and dots. If you line them up and stack them so that they are within a perfect square, you start to see a movement within the shapes.
Using these patterns, he came up with a line graph which shows the patern changes in the 64 hexagrams.
However, he discovered something very chilling - this graph represents a timeline for the world - the parts of the line that were highest or lowest corresponded with times in history when great changes where occuring. For example, when the line fell into a low value, it aligned with a time when there was a great event, or group of events all at once, that galvanized people, such as the WWI and WWII, and also Hitler's reign.
Strangely enough, this entire timeline stops abrubtly, once again, on the date December 21st 2012. This is when the graph reached zero.
as you can see, the graph ends on the dec 2012.
hmm, what's your take on all these?=x
